You can try restore m2ts sample using tsmuxer.
- mount ISO, load main .m2ts file from your BDMV/STREAM directory (usually it's the biggest one) in tsmuxer
- A) set output muxing to m2ts
- go to Split & cut tab and select "split duation every 60 sec"
- start muxing
- stop muxing after creating 10-11 files (Scene groups usually make ranodm 60sec samples from first 10 minutes of movie)
- compare sizes & checksums (CRC32) with SRRDB
- if you find the one that matches checksums - thats the one!
- if none of them matches checksums but sizes are same or very similar try another variants:
- B) in Blu-ray tab change 45KHz clock from 0 to 524280, start muxing
- if still proper file hasn't been found - try another variant:
- C) Input tab: try change "Insert SEI and VUI data if absent" between other options
This method is not 100% perfect: tested 3 COMPLETE.BLURAY releases, only 1 success. I've successfully recreated m2ts sample from
Black.Panther.Wakanda.Forever.2022.MULTi.COMPLETE.BLURAY-AKENATON
using TSmuxerGUI v2.6.12 with settings:
Insert SEI and VUI data if absent
[check] Continually insert SPS/PPS
Blu-ray: 45KHz clock: 0
Split every 60s
Sometimes srrdb shows info from incomplete sample files - in this case you can't compare checksums.
