Hi all, I'm tired to manually pysrs my mp3 files so I decided to try resce.py. Unfortunately my 2 neurons brain can't make it work. Does anyone know if there's a wincrap tutorial for this script ?

Last time I tried, it still failed on Windows. Looking at the notes, it could work on Windows though but I doubt it works for music.
I heard dryes lost access to his Github account, so don't expect any updates.
[23:19:10] <dryes> Gfy: never got around to making it work, but what's the error?
[23:19:26] <dryes> also it supports audio as of last year
[23:23:48] <dryes> suspect it may be executables not being in PATH
[20:04:25] <dryes> btw, rescepy doesn't run on windows because the '.exe' suffix is missing on cmd calls
[20:04:41] <dryes> hadn't realised/cared it was required
OK, thanks for the help… Any other automated windows tool to suggest ?
Hi, I've just spent a few days fixing rescepy up and would appreciate some feedback/bug reports from windows users. The solutions shouldn't be anything more than a few path fixes with os.sep.
One of the main issues before was with the means the srr class used for determining the srr file contents - it was filth. The new method is infinitely more robust.
new url is: https://github.com/d2yes/rescepy
I've created a retag.py script for just retagging music:
Thanks, a bit difficult to make it work automatically but it worth it :)
I just created a PDF tutorial for rescepy (only for the automated tag recovery), feel free to ask me if interested. I'll send you the link.
