NFO viewers
Although NFO files can, in most cases, viewed by console interface of many operating systems (for example the "type" command in the Command Prompt), NFO viewing softwares were created mainly offering wider and easier GUI access. On Windows, a simple batch file can be associated to NFO files to view them:

- iNFO A small viewer for NFO, DIZ, and other ASCII art files. GPL. Initial public and last release both in 2005.

- NFO2TXT Converts NFO files to TXT files. Freeware.
- NFOView A simple NFO file viewer. Original site is down. NFOView on this wiki.
- ViewNFO An NFO/DIZ/TXT file viewer. Freeware.
- jane A nice ASCII files viewer/editor. Freeware. Can display the NFO in an SRR file!
